It remembers little things
More moments
“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
— Aaron Siskind

The Weaving of Memories
This photo was casually captured in the summer of 2018, in an ancient town in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province.
Nowadays, many of these items are mass-produced in factories, and very few people still weave them by hand.
Those plants in nature…
I grew up in the countryside as a child, living with my grandparents. Back then, the happiest part of every day after school was heading up the mountain to observe all kinds of plants.
As I grew older, I developed a deep closeness to nature. Whenever I have time to rest, I love going into the forests and wild fields—these places make me feel truly relaxed.

The Animal Series
Much like my bond with plants, my grandmother’s home was alive with animals—cats curling in the sun, dogs wagging at the gate, pigs grunting softly, chickens scratching the yard, ducks waddling by the pond, rabbits nibbling quietly, and geese of every kind honking through the days. From childhood, surrounded by all these lives, I grew up with an instinctive, deep affection for animals.
